The teen student will learn cold reading and auditioning techniques to prepare for auditions in front of casting agents, directors, and producers. The student will learn the difference in working on camera and working in front of a live audience. Improvisation will be a big part of the program. When the teen uses the improvisation technique, the student finds their self-becoming more spontaneous in their work.
The actor will learn how to breakdown a script making it possible to understand the storyline, character development, intentions of the characters, objectives, and what stands in the way of the actor accomplishing his or her goal. The actor will be truthful in their scene work and discovering their own uniqueness. The exercises and training will prepare the student to be real and honest in their work.
