My Daughter Haissa Mellott enjoys Al’s classes, and we have witnessed the benefits of his training. She feels supported by Al and formed nice bonds with the other students in her class. Haissa has been in many commercials, including Honda, Hyundai, Ammco, Sprout TV, Primark, and Delta Dental, and countless print jobs, American girl, Forever 21, Old Navy, Speedo, Disney… Even though she’s successful, continuing to train keeps her competitive and leaves her confident in her future. My Daughter signed up with The Valletta Actors Studio a year ago and has had a blast! Al is a brilliant teacher who truly works on getting the best work out of his student. He’s dynamic and enthusiastic and really coaches the kids to express emotion and relate to one another when practicing scenes. In an effort to improve speech and creativity, he includes articulation and improvisation in his classes. “Showcases” are presented annually to give his students an opportunity to really shine on-stage for family, friends, and talent scouts. Even if you don’t plan on going pro, the tools Al provides to his students are assets for life.
